great place to start
The clip looks fine. The story doesn't.
You can generate a scene in minutes. What you can't generate is pacing, intention, or the sense that someone actually directed this.
Too many tools, no clear workflow.
Runway, Pika, Luma, Kling — the options keep multiplying. Without a system, you spend more time testing than making.
No one teaching the craft, only the clicks.
Most AI video tutorials stop at "here's the button." Nobody talks about what makes a shot hold attention or when to cut.
The output looks AI. You want it to look intentional.
There's a difference between generated and directed. Most creators haven't found it yet.
BY THE NUMBERS
Sixteen years of directing. Two years building AI into real creative work
16+ Years Directing
Worked with National Geographic India, Discovery Channel India, Fox Life, and India Today. Not a background in theory — a background in production.
6 Countries
Built and led creative projects across six countries. That kind of scale teaches you which decisions matter and which ones waste time.
Working AI User Since 2022
I didn't start teaching AI video from a classroom. I brought it into active client work first — Runway, Pika, Luma, Kling — and built the workflow before I built the curriculum.
Cohort + 1:1 Training
Programs structured for solo creators and small studios. Not a one-size system. Scoped to your actual pipeline and production standard.
AIÂ VIDEOÂ HACK
Weekly dispatches on AI video tools, workflow design, and the creative decisions nobody else is talking about. For filmmakers and creators who want to stay ahead without losing their standards.
Craft, not just clicks. A filmmaker's approach to AI video
You leave with a working system, not just a list of tools. And you leave knowing how to evaluate your own output — which is the part most tutorials skip entirely.
TESTIMONIALS

are saying
I've done three other AI video courses. This is the first one that treated me like a filmmaker, not a beginner. The section on narrative direction alone changed how I approach every prompt I write now.

Why Work
With Me

I actually use these tools on real work.
This isn't an academic program built from YouTube research. I brought AI video into active client productions and built the curriculum from what I found there — including the parts that didn't work.

Narrative first. Tools second
Anyone can show you a button. I teach you how to evaluate the frame you just generated — rhythm, pacing, the quality of the shot — before you decide whether to keep it

No tool loyalty
Runway, Pika, Luma, Kling — the landscape shifts constantly. I don't teach allegiance to a platform. I teach you how to evaluate tools so you can adapt when the next one arrives.

Feedback that's actually useful
Portfolio reviews mean something when they come from someone who has directed for broadcast. I give you the note a filmmaker would give, not a checklist.

Built for working creatives.
These programs fit around production schedules. Not the other way around. Cohort timing and 1:1 pacing are designed for people who already have work.

Ask Your Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What AI video tools does this training cover?
Training covers the primary tools in active professional use: Runway, Pika, Luma, and Kling, among others. The tool landscape changes frequently, so the curriculum stays current. You’ll also learn how to evaluate new tools as they arrive — which matters more long-term than knowing any single platform.
I'm not a professional filmmaker. Can I still do this training?
Yes. The training is built for solo creators, marketing professionals, and filmmakers at different stages. What it requires is that you take the output seriously — you want to make something good, not just something generated. If that’s where you are, it’ll work.
What's the difference between the cohort and the 1:1 option?
Cohorts run on a fixed schedule with a small group of creators and include structured milestones, peer review, and shared portfolio time. The 1:1 format is scoped to your specific workflow, medium, and timeline. Both include direct feedback from Vani.
How long is each program?
Program length is scoped to the engagement. The AI Video Foundations 1:1 runs four weeks. Studio cohorts run six to eight weeks depending on team size and scope. Bespoke engagements are scoped per project. All timelines are agreed before the program begins.
